ORDINANCE NO. 77-12-1514
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BROADWAY BE-
TWEEN 3RD STREET 'AND AN' ALLEY EAST OF ' NORTH 2ND STREET" ; "AND AMENDING THE
PADUCAH ZONING -ORDINANCE -1976- 'SO AS` TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION '1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah ,Planning Com-
mission on December 7, 1977,. entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL
REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING' COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED 'ON BROADWAY BEtWhEN, 3RD STREET AND AN ALLEY EAST
OF NORTH 2ND S'T'REET",' be approved as the final report of said Commission
respecting the , matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification„ change and the _map amendment,

SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from B-3, General Business Zone, to B -2-T, Downtown
Business Town -lift Zone: _
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center
line of Broadway and the center line of an alley
which runs parallel to Second Street and midway
between First Street and Second Street; thence in
a northwesterly direction and with the center line
of said- alley -117-..33- -feet; --thence at right angles
and in a southwesterly direction, and with the
rear line of certain lands fronting on Broadway
76.31 feet; thence at right angles and in a south-
easterly direction 26.58 feet; thence at right angles
and in a southwesterly direction, with. the rear ._lot_
lines of -lots fronting on Broadway 137.94 feet to
the center line of . Second Street; thence at right.
angles and' with' the center 11ne of Second Street -
in a northwesterly direction 52.75 feet; thence at
right angles and in a southwesterly direction, and
along the center line of an alley 412.5 feet to the
center line of Third Street; thence at right angles
and in a southeasterly direction with the center
line of Third Street 235 feet more or less 1 feet;
thence at right angles and in a northeasterly di-
rection with the rear lot lines of lots fronting on
Broadway 107.41 feet; thence at right angles and
in a southeasterly direction 57.75 feet; thence at
right angles and with the rear lot lines of lots
fronting on Broadway, in a northeasterly direction
99.01 feet; thence at right angles and in a north-
westerly direction 57.86 feet; thence at right angles
and in a northeasterly direction with the rear lot
lines of lots fronting on Broadway 64.50 feet; thence
at right angles and in a northwesterly direction 90
feet more or less to the center line of Broadway;

thence at right angles and in a northeasterly
direction with 'the center line -'6f Broadway 355.25
feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause,
the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not
affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose
and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and pro-
vision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
