HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-12-1504693 ORDINANCE NO. 77-12-1504 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SHELTON FORD TRACTOR FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO RUBBER TIRED TRACTORS, ONE TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE SUM OF $3,792.00, PLUS THE TRADE-IN OF AN EXISTING TRACTOR, AND ONE TO BE USED BY THE FLOOD CONTROL DEPARTMENT FOR THE SUM OF $4,125.00, PLUS THE TRADE-IN OF AN EXISTING TRACTOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Shelton Ford Tractor for sale to the City of two rubber tired tractors, one to be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for the sum of $3,792.00, plus the trade-in of an existing tractor, and one to be used by the Flood Control Department for the sum of $4,125.00, plus the trade-in of an existing tractor, said bids being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 25, 1977, and as contained in the bid of Shelton Ford Tractor dated November 9, 1977. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Shelton Ford Tractor for sale to the City of the tractors authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION ' 3 . The purchase price for said tractors shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account Nos. 3214 and 5114. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form -in which -it shall be' -put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
