ORDINANCE NO. 77-12-1499
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN SOUTH
4TH, 5TH, ADAMS AND OHIO STREETS, AND AMENDING THE-PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE - 1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah PIanning Commission
on November 21, 1977, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT
OF THE PADUC ,
AH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED BETWEEN SOUTH 4TH, 5TH, OHIO AND ADAMS," be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agree-
ment with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3 That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential to B-3, General
Business Zone: -
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline
of South 5th Street. and .Adams,> Street; thence in
a southeasterly direction and with the center-
line,, of, .South. .5th . Street . 878 .;50 feet to the inter:-
section
nter-section of the centerlines of South 5th Street
,and-:O.hio,.Street;, thence at right ,angles -and in a,-.
northeasterly direction 417.75 feet to the inter-
section of _-Ohio.�Street and -;,South. 4th,.,Street; ;thence
at right angles and in a northwesterly direction
878.50 feet to the point of intersection of the cen-
terlines of South 4th Street and Adams Street;
thence at right angles and in a southwesterly
direction -,.with the ' centerline of Adams Street
409.50 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4 . :-That if :any section,-- paragraph ;or provision . of ; this ; ordinance
shall be found to be.inope-rative;, --ineffective or ;invalid for .any cause, the.. deficiency
or invalidity of, -such section,,,,paragr:aph or provision shall not, affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
