ORDINANCE NO. 77-11-11498,
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GENE GRIEF AND SONS FOR THE
REPAIR AND PAINTING OF THE OUTER PARAPET ROOF WALL OF THE CITY HALL, FOR
THE SUM OF $12,660.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CON-
TRACT FOR SUCH REPAIR AND PAINTING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Gene, Grief and Sons
in the amount of $12,660.00, for the repair and painting of the outer parapet roof wall
of the City Hall, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid, specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed, by the Board of

Commissioners on September 27, 1977, and as contained in the bid of Gene Grief
and Sons, dated November 4, 1977.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract for such repairs and painting authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said repair and painting shall be
charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 1712.
SECTION 4.', An'emergency is declared to exist and, this ordinance shall
