ORDINANCE NO. 77-11-1494
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF ONE 1978 FORD VAN FOR USE BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT,
FOR THE SUM OF^ $5,589.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc.,
for sale to the City of one 1978 Ford Van for use by the Paducah Police Department,
for the sum of $5,589.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisements for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by
the Board of Commissioners on October 11, 1977, and as contained in the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc. , dated October 24, 1977.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc., for sale to the City of the 1978 Ford
Van authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and
all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said van shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2114.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
