AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTION (a) OF SECTION 2-54 "AUTOMATIC
AND PROGRESSIVE INCREASE FOR APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE, CI,,TY,-OF,,P,ADUCAH, -KENTUCKY

SECTION. 1, _-That. sub -section (a) of ,Section 2-,754 of the Code of Ordinances
be amended., and reordained so- that, said. Section, as -amended and reordained- shall
hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. .,.,2-54,._, Automatic and Progressive Increase. for: Appointive, Employees.
(a) From and after November 7,-. 77,., all, appointive, employees of the city,
with the, _ exception. ,qf,tbe,, city
manager,;,thq.., director of 7public services,, members of
the police ,department•.and, members of,, the, fire department shall•have the following
automatic and, progreslsi.ve. increase in salary:;
One dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per -month -for each complete year of
continuous, service

of twenty (20)
years".
SECTION 2. This
ordinance amends Ordinance.
No.. 74-4-970,
adopted by
the Board of C.ommissionens. on April 23, .1974.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect. and, retro�,,
active to November 7, 1977.
