HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-10-1488661 \s ORDINANCE NO. 77-10-1488 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE TO COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, A QUITCLAIM- DEED CONVEYING THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN AND TO A LOT IN THE REAR OF -1721 MEYERS STREET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That for the consideration of the sum of $1.00, the receipt of which is acknowledged as considered paid, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey by quitclaim deed to the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the use and benefit of the Department of Transportation, all of the right, title and interest of the City of Paducah in and to the following described land in said City, being described as o ows:: One lot in the rear of 1721 Meyers Street, about 52 feet south of same, being 54.33 feet wide and about 100 . fee,t, deep, and_ as,..shown. on. page 24 of Block Map Book 6 in the office of the City Engineer. Being the same land (Catherine Smith property) conveyed to the City of Paducah, by Benjamin C. LeRoy, City Treasurer, by Deed dated October 12, 1977 and of record in Deed Book 599, page 427 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Said deed of conveyance shall contain no warrenty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3.
