ORDINANCE NO. 77-10-1481
AN `ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY' MANAGER `TO ENTER INTO AN
AGREEMENT' 'WITH -H' LAWRENCE HAMMET, ET AL, PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A'' PRIVATE' SEWER LINE- WITHIN- THE CORPORATE`'LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, Lawrence Hammet, et' a ' are desirous' of constructing a private
sewer line, at their c6st,' 'Within the corporate limitsof -the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
and
WHEREAS,'' said" persons are"desirous that ;Said line- be permitted to tap on
to the city' `sewer "system' and that'aft6r'dons ruction the City accept tsai ine as
part of its sewer system, and
WHEREAS, -"the-';City ,has''n'd,'objection 'to said project .but does desire that the
understanding, between the parties be reduced- to writing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF 'PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION' 1.' That the City Manager 'a -b
e, and' he is' hereby, authorized to
enter into an agreement with Lawrence Hammet, et al, pertaining to the construction
of a private sewer Idne within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
and further agreeing that upon the completion. of said , system that the City of Paducah
will accept said line as part of its municipal sewer system .
SECTION 2. That said agreement shall have such other terms and provisions
as are deemed appropriate by the Corporation Counsel and City Engineer of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky._
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be retroactive to October _6_, 1977 and shall
be in full force and effect from that date.
