AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTINGr THE. BID OF: B-. T. ; BROOKS AND SON-, INC.
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF RESTROOMS AND REPORTING STAND I IN- NOBLE PARK,
FOR THE SUM � OF -FIFTY-SEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. ($,57,200. 0.0)
AND AUTHORIZING- THE CITY MANAGER TO, EXECUTE- A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
CONSTRUCTION- - - -
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 - That the City of Paducah accept .the bid of B. T. Brooks and,- -
Son, Inc - for constr-uction of restrooms and reportingL stand in Noble Park, for the
sum of fifty-seven thousand two hundred dollars ($57,200.00), _ said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on August .9, 1977,
and as contained in the bid of B. T Brooks. -and Son, Inc., dated August, 25, 1977.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a: -,contract with B. T. Brooks and Son; Inc. for construction of facilities
authorized -in• Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price, .for said. construction shall be charged
to Community Development Block Grant Funds. -
SECTION 4. . An emergency, is declared to exist and this. ordinance shall,
therefore be introduced and remain on file for., public inspection for at least one
week in.-. the completed- form ;in -which -it shall -be, put upon its final passage, and
if adopted, shall, ,be, -in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
