AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF MARY K. TABER, 902 SOUTH
FIFTH STREET, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY
IN PROPERTY AT 904 SOUTH FIFTH STREET, FOR THE SUM OF $430.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF "COMMISSIONERS OF THEW CTTY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Mary K. Taber, in the amount of $430.00, to
purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City be accepted,
said land being described as follows:
Being the L. A Franklin property at 904 South 5th
Street adjoining Mary K. Taber property in Lot 12,
fronting about 22.5 feet on the east side of 9th Street
about 86 feet south of Jones Street and as shown on
page 13 of Block Map Book 5 in the office of the City
Engineer. See Deed Book 454, page 17.
Being the same land (L. A. Franklin property) con-
veyed to the City of Paducah by Benjamin C. LeRoy,
Treasurer, by Deed dated August 23, 1977 and of
record in Deed Book 597, page 549 in the McCracken
County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $430.00 (plus $5.50 recording
fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to convey to Mary K. Taber, all of the right, title and interest
of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof and that said deed of con-
veyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be
subject to any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
