AN 'ORDINANCE' ACCEPTING THE`"B3D OF LUSK' ACOUSTICAL' & iSUPPLY
COMPANY,. INC-.'- FOR: INSTALLATION OF. GYMNASIUM FLOORING IN THE BOY'S'CLUB
OF PADUCAH `.INC': FOR THE SUM OF TWELVE. THOUSAND 'SEVEN HUNDRED SEVEN
DOLLRAS ($12,707. 00) , AND AUTHORIZING THE'CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE 'A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH., INSTALLATION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF`THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION- 1. That the City 'of' .Paducah accept the bid of Lusk' Acoustical:
and Supply Company, Inc for installation of :Gymnasium flooring:- in the, Boy's. Club
of Paducah; Inc . , for the sum of - Twelve thousand seven hundred seven dollars'
($12,707,'-00),- said bid being . in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisezrieint for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the 'Board of Com-
missioners on August 23,. 1977,' and- as contained in *-the- bid: -of I'Lusk Acoustical and
Supply: Company, Inc..,. 4.dated September- .7,: 19'77;
SECTION 2. '-That the City Manager:' be, and he` is hereby; :authorized to
execute a contract' with Lusk Acoustical,. and 'Supply Company, Inc. ; for installation
of the flooring authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, -'bid`
proposal ''and all coritractl documents' heretofore approved `and incorporated iri the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price - for ` said installation shall be charged to
Community- Development' Block Grant-' Funds .
SECTION 4-: Aril emergency.r is declared to -:exist and this ordinance shall -
therefore be introduced and :_remain'-on.'file:ifori public inspection -for at least, one
week in the completed form in which- it'�shall,,be put upon *its' final passage, and if ,
adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
