AN: `ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF'; HANNIN ROOFING`'& SHEET
METAL COMPANY, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $16-9,914.'0 0 :FOR ROOFING REPAIRS
TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT MAINTENANCE GARAGE, AND IN THE` AMOUNT OF
$10,462.00 FOR `ROOFING- REPAIRS TO THE CITY HALL AND, DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY TO EXIST
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE °BOARD .OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.' That the' City. Manager -be, and he is :hereby, authorized and
directed to enter intoa, a" contract (s) with 'Hankin. Roofing &a'Sheet- Metal Company,
Inc . , in the amount of $16,i914'.00 for roofing repairs to the Fite Department maintenance
garage, and in the `amount of- $10, 462: 00 for roofing repairs of theCity Hall; the
bids of Hannin Roofing & Sheet Metal Company, Inc. being 1 dated August 29, 1977, and
being in substantial compliance with the resolution for bids 'as previously authorized
by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky:
SECTION 2. The City ,Hall roof 'shall be :paid from ;General Fund Account
No. 1712 and the Fire Deepartment- roof - shall be" paid from FRS Account No. 1712.
SECTION 3. An emergency -is -'declared oto exist- and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file' for public inspection- for at least one
week in the -completed form in "which it shall be put`upon its- final passage, and
if adopted shall, be irn •full ,Tofte- and, effect immediately! thereafter.
