AN. ORDINANCE A-CCEETING. ,THE BID OF BUSINESS EQUIPMENT.. AND
SUPPLIES FOR SALE. TO, rT�HE CI.TY, OF TWO..AUTQMATED FILING AND, RETRIEVAL
SYSTEMS FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF_412,779.60,, _.
AND AUTHORIZING THE. CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT .ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF, COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1, , That the City of Paducah accept the bid-, of Business
Equipment and Supplies for sale to the City of two. _automated filing- and .retrieval,
systems for use by,the Police Department, for the sum of $12,779.60,, said -,bid
being in substantial compliance „_with the bid specifications, and advertisement for

bids as was authorized by resolution. passed by. Board of Commissioners on
July 26, 1977, and as,.contained,.in. the bid of Business Equipment and Supplies,
dated August 16, 19.77_.,
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized .
to execute a: contract with Business Equipment and Supplies for sale to the City
of the 'equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to, ;the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated , in
the bid.
SECTION 3..,, 'The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged
to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2114.
SECTION 4. ' An. `emergency is declared to exist and .this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file._for, public inspection for at ,least
one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its _final -passage, and
if adopted shall be in full,.,force and effect immediately thereafter.
