ORDINANCE NO. 77-8-1463
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF CRAWFORD CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY, IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS
($55,900.00) FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TRANSFORMER SUBSTATION RELOCATION AT
THE ISLAND CREEK PUMPING PLANT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of Crawford
Construction Company for construction of transformer substation relocation at the
Island Creek Pumping Plant, for the sum of $55,900.00, said proposal being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on August 9, 1977,
and as contained in the bid of Crawford Construction Company, dated August 19,
1977.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Crawford Construction Company for construction of the
transformer substation relocation at the Island Creek Pumping Plant, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said construction shall be charged
to General Fund Account No. 3254.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one
week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
