ORDINANCE NO. 77-8-1458
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A 20 -FOOT ALLEY
LOCATED ON BUCKNER LANE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing
of a 20 -foot alley located on Buckner Lane, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North side of Buckner
Lane: 16-0 -feet in a westerly direction from.. the
northwest intersection of Buckner Lane and Valley
Road; thence- at, a right angle and in a, northerly, .
direction with the east line of said alley a distance
of-300,,feet, thence at a right angle andin a wester-
ly direction a distance of 20 feet; thence at a right
angle in a southerly direction with the westerly
line of said alley a distance of 300 feet to the north-
erly line of -_Buckner, Lane; thence ,in --an easterly di-
rection with the northerly line of Buckner Lane a
distance of 20,. feet. to the, point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered .and.. -directed- to institute
and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360,, an action in the McCracken., Circuit, Court
for a judgment ordering the closingof the alley described in. Section 1 above..
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force. and .effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
