AN RDIN_ NCE AMENDING SUB -SECTIONS (a) AND"_(e) : OF _SECTION
2-47 "NONCIVIL. SERVICE EMPLOYEES GENERALLY", of THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH_,. KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub -sections (a) and j.e) of. Section 2-17 "Noncivil
Service Employees Generally", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky be amended and reordained so that same as amended and reordained shall
hereafter read as follows:
"Subsections (a) . and (e) of Section 2-47. Noncivil service employees
generally.
(a) The monthly^ or"hourly rate of` "compensation of the following noncivil
service employees of the City of Paducah shall be the amount set opposite the
designation of such employment, to -wit:

SECTION 2. That sub -section (e) of Section 2-47 "Noncivil Service
Employees Generally" be amended and reordained so that said sub -section as amended
and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
" (e) The clerk -typist -secretary - Police Department, shall be paid at the
rate of $625.00 per month
for the
first six months
of employment; at the expiration
of six months $635.00 per
month;
at the expiration
of one year $645.00 per month;
at the expiration of two years $655.00 per month; and at the expiration of four
years $665.00 per month; such increases to be made upon recommendation of the
city manager".
SECTION
3.
This
ordinance amends an ordinance originally adopted
on March 16, 1957,
and
last
amended by Ordinance No. 77-4-1411, adopted
575
April 26, 1977.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and retroactive to July 18, 1977.
