HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-7-1441554 ORDINANCE NO. 77-7-1441 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NATIONAL UTILITY PRODUCTS COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF 110 ADJUSTABLE MANHOLE RINGS, FOR THE SUM OF $6,430.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of National Utility Products Company, in the amount of $6,430.00, plus freight, for sale to the City of 110 adjustable manhole rings, said bid being in substantial complaince with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on June 14, 1977, and as contained in the bid of National Utility Products Company, dated June 24, 1977. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with National Utility Products Company for sale to the City of Paducah of the manhole rings authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. Jr . SECTION 3. The purchase price for said manhole rings shall be charged to either the General Fund Account or Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3454. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
