ORDINANCE NO. 77-7-1438
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTION (a) OF SECTION 25-1, "NUMBER,
RANK AND SALARIES ` OF MEMBERS ' OF DEPARTMENT' "OF THE 'CODE- OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF 'PAD'UCAH, - KENTUCKY `
BE ' IT' ORDAINED "BY THE BOARD,: OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY. OF-
PADUCAH, -KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub -section (a) of Section 25-1 "Number., rank and
salaries of members, of department", .of the'Code ' of Ordinances- of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said sub -section as amended
and reordained' shall hereafter' read as follows:
"Sub -section' (a) . of Section 25-1:-. Number, 'rank and salaries , of members
of department.
(a) The number and rank of members of the police department of the
City of Paducah and their monthly salaries', provided said salaries are not changed
by any annual apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows:
Positions Number of Positions Base Monthly Salary
Chief of Police > 1! 1,700.00
Assistant Chief of Police 1 1,300.00
Captains 5 1,100.00
Sergeants 10 . ; -1,000.00
Patrolmen , 49 725:00"
SECTION ' 2:. - This ordinance amends Sub -section r(a) sof. Section 25-1
"Number, Rank and Salaries- of 'Members of Department" =of, the � Code of Ordinances,
which was - originally: 'enacted ' on August 5, 1952, and was last amended by* .Ordi-
nance No 1432; adopted July 12, 1977.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force -and effect from and
after its adoption
