AN, ORDINANCE AMENDING_SUB7SECTIONS (a) AND, (b) OF SECTION, .12-19..
"NUMBER, RANK AND SALARIES OF MEMBERS" OF ARTICLE II "FIRE DEPARTMENT"..

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF__ECOMMISSjONER,S OF- THE; .CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub -sections (a) and (b) of Section 12-19 "Number,
rank and salaries of members", of Article II "Fire Department" of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that
same as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 12-19. Number, rank and salaries of members.
(a) The. number and rank of the members of the Fire Department of the
City and their monthly salaries,- provided such salaries are not, changed -by. -any
annual apportionment, ordinance.. hereafter adopted,,- -shall be -as follows:

Chief 1 1,700.00
Assistant Chief 4 1,300.00
Captain -training officer 1 970.00
Chief Mechanic 1 970.00
Inspector 1 907.00
Firefighter (assistant inspector) 1 722.00

Lieutenants 21 3.147
Firefighters 42 2.480".
. (b) The assistant chiefs of the Paducah Fire Department shall be paid
at the following listed rates upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years of
service with the Paducah Fire Department:

SECTION 2. This ordinance amends an ordinance originally adopted
on December 11, 1951, � and`last amended by Ordinance No. 76-7-1295, adopted
on July 13, 1976.
SECTION 3 . !This'' ordinance 'shall be in full force and effect from and

after its adoption and retroactive to July 4, 1977.
