ORDINANCE NO'. 77-6-1431
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH BIAGI-HANNAN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$8,780.90 FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah intends to relocate the transformer
pad at the Island Creek substation in the area of interference with the proposed
construction of the riverfront access road, and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid project will require professional engineering
services, and
WHEREAS, Biagi -Hannan and Associates, Inc. have agreed to provide
the required professional engineering services for the sum of $8,780.90.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Biagi -Hannan and Associates, Inc. for professional
engineering services in regard to the relocation of the transformer pad at the Island
Creek substation in the area of interference with the proposed construction of the
riverfront access road, for a total sum not to exceed $8,780.90.
SECTION 2. The aforesaid sum shall be charged to Account No. 3254.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
