AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE
BID
OF
ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF ONE 1977 FORD TRUCK
TO
BE
USED BY THE PADUCAH DOG WARDENS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc . ,
for sale to the City of one 1977 Ford Truck to be used by the Paducah Dog Wardens,
for the sum of Three thousand six hundred eighty-seven dollars and fifteen cents
($3,687.15), said bid `being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Com-
missioners on May 25, 1977, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc . , dated
June 1, 1977.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes,
Inc. for the
sale to the City of the
1977
Ford
Truck authorized in Section 1 above,
according to
the specifications, bid,
and
all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2414.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
