ORDINANCE NO. 77-6-1427
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF PARKER CHRISTIAN AND WIFE,
INA E. CHRISTIAN, 2337 SEITZ STREET, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO PURCHASE THE
INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOT 5 BLOCK 10, O'BRYANS ADDITION,
FOR THE SUM OF $135.50 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Parker Christian and wife, Ina E. Christian
in the amount of $135.50 to purchase the interest of the City in the following des-
,
cribed land be accepted, said land described as follows:
Being Lot 5 Block 10 O'Bryans Addition,
fronting 40 feet on South side of Seitz
Street 200 feet west of Mississippi Street
and as shown on page 57 of Block Map
Book 4 in the office of the City Engineer.
Being conveyed to the City of Paducah
--by Walker M. Turner by deed dated
May 8, 1967 and of record in Deed Book
487, page 239 in the McCracken County
Court Clerks office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of $135.50 (which includes a recording
fee of $5.50 to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Parker Christian and wife,
Ina E. Christian, all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property
described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim
only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of
facts as may be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
