AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH
AND PADUCAH WATER WORKS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Paducah with Paducah
Water Works providing for the discharge of Paducah Water Works' sludges and the
treatment of same by the Municipal Sewer System.
SECTION 2. That the aforesaid contract shall provide that the Paducah
Water Works shall pay to the, 'City of Paducah, the sum of five cents (5Oy per
one thousand (1, 000) gallons, for 'treatment of said discharge and such other terms
and provisions as may be deemed necessary by the City Engineer .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in :full . force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
