A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND RATIFYING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREE-
MENT BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS , an application filed by the City of Paducah, Kentucky pursuant to
PL 88-578 for financial assistance in the construction of two restroom facilities in Bob
Noble Park has been approved by the appropriate state and federal agencies, and
WHEREAS, Mayor William S. Murphy has previously entered into an agreement,
dated April 22, 1977, in order to permit the City to receive a '$25, 000.00 from the
Commonwealth of Kentucky for the aforesaid purpose .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the agreement between the Commonwealth of Kentucky, acting
by and through the Kentucky Department of Parks, and the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
dated April 22, 1977, which provides for the payment by the Commonwealth of Kentucky
to the City of Paducah, of the sum of $25, 000.00 for the development of two restroom
facilities in Bob Noble Park be approved and that the action of Mayor William S . Murphy
in executing the aforesaid agreement be, and the' same is hereby, ratified .
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption .
