ORDINANCE NO. 77-5-1415
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF IBM FOR SALE . TO THE CITY
OF ONE MAGNETIC TYPEWRITER TO BE USED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY
CLERK, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT._ORDAINED. BY THE BOARD OF. COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept, ,the. bid -of IBM for sale
to the City of. one Magnetic Typewriter to be used in the office of the City Clerk,
for the sum of $3,768.00,-, said bid being in substantial compliance with the
bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution
passed by the Board of Commissioners on March 22, 1977, and as contained in
the bid of IBM dated April 1, 1977.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with IBM for the sale to the City of the equipment
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the. bid..
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged
to General Fund Account No. 1103.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect ten (10) days thereafter.
