HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-4-1406466 ORDINANCE NO. 77-4-1406 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF SIX AND ONE-HALF STREET LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF NORTHVIEW STREET, AND AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH TREATMENT PLANT PROPERTY AND NORTHVIEW STREET BE ' IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the 'City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of Six and One-half Street located on the West side of Northview Street, and an alley located between the City of Paducah Treatment Plant property and Northview Street, more particularly described as follows:. Beginning at 'the southwest intersection of northview Street and 62 Street; thence in a westerly direction with the "southerly line of 62 Street a distance of 100 feet to the east line of a 30 foot alley; thence in a southerly direction with the east line of said, alley, and parallel to Northview Street a distance of 19*- feet tot of another 30 foot he northerly line alley; thence in a westerly direction a dis- tance of 30 feet to the.west.line of said 30 foot alley; thence in a northerly direction and with the west line of said 30 foot alley a distance of 234 feet to the northerly line of 6-21 Street; thence in an easterly direction and with the northerly line of 6-21 Street a distance of 130 feet to the west line of North - view Street; thence in a southerly direction with the west line of Northview Street, if extended across 612 Street, a distance of 40 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he'i's hereby,' authorized, empowered. and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the street and alley described in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
