HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-3-1403461 ORDINANCE NO. 77-3-1403 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES SANDERS NURSERY, FOR LANDSCAPING OF THE TOWNLIFT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of James Sanders Nursery for landscaping of the Townlift Project, for the sum of $31,323.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing bids, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on February 22, 1977. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with James Sanders Nursery, for landscaping of the Townlift Project, which contract shall be in compliance with Section 1 above, the resolution authorizing bids, plans and specifications, and the bid of James Sanders Nursery, dated March 16, 1977. SECTION 3. This cost of this landscaping project shall be paid from Community Development Block Grant Funds. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter. 4 Mayor.
