AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE- MAYOR AND; CITY CLERK TO .
EXECUTE .A LEASE -WITH THE CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION BOARD, FOR THE CITY
OF -PADUCAH; KENTUCKY, FOR THE MARKET HOUSE BUILDING SITUATED ON
SOUTH SECOND STREET -BETWEEN BROADWAY AND KENTUCKY AVENUE, FOR A
PERIOD OF TIME FROM MARCH 14, . 1977 TO . DECEMBER 19,-1980
BE IT ORDAINED 7 BY, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF L'
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:..,
SECTION I - That the, Mayor and .City -Clerk be and they are hereby,
authorized and directed to execute a lease between the City of Paducah.,- Kentucky;
and the Civic -Beautification Board for the City- of Paducah., Kentucky, . for the
Market House Building situated on South Second Street between Broadway and
Kentucky Avenue for a period of time from March 14, 1977 to December 19, 1980,
and at a -rental of One Dollar -per-year, and said lease shall provide that, either party
may terminate the lease upon thirty (30) days written notice; ands that no part may
be underlet without thewritten approval, of the. Board of Commissioners of the City
of Paducah. Said lease shall further provide that the Lessee pay for all utilitiesand
ordinary repairs and maintenance; to said property..
SECTION 2. This- ordinance shall be in full force and effect 'from
and after its adoption.
