ORDINANCE NO. 77-3-1399
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAHL'S EXCAVATING COMPANY,
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SOUTH 28TH STREET CULVERT AND STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,_ KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wahl's Excavating
Company for construction of the South 28th Street culvert and street improvement
project in the total sum of $44,040.50,said bid being in substantial compliance with
the- resolution, authorizing bids, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners'
on August -10, 19-76.
'SECTION 2. -That the City: Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to'
execute a contract with Wahl's- Excavating . Company, "for the construction ,of the
South 28th Street culvert and street improvement project, which' contract shall be
in compliance' with Section 1 above, the resolution authorizing bids; °plans and
specifications and the- bid -of Wahl's Excavating Company,` dated 'September 9, '1976.::
SECTION 3. The cost of this project shall be paid -from Federal Revenue
Sharing Account No. 3454.
SECTION 4.' An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one .'week for public inspection"
in the completed form in which it. shall he put `upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall" be in full- force andeffect immediately thereafter. �
