HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-3-1397451 ORDINANCE NO. 77-3-1397 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MATHIS PLUMBING AND HEATING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE I OF THE INDUSTRIAL PARK SEWER EXTENSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Mathis Plumbing and Heating for the construction of Phase I of the Industrial Park Sewer Extension, in the net amount of $51,963.90, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on January 25, 1977, and as contained in the bid of Mathis Plumbing and Heating dated February 15, 1977. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Mathis Plumbing and Heating for construction of Phase I of the Industrial Park Sewer Extension authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The construction of said sewer extension shall be charged to the Sewer Depreciation and Extension Account. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter. jf- Mayor Introduced by the Board of Commissioners February 22, 1977 Passed by the Board of Commissioners March 8, 1977 Recorded by Louise McKinney, City Clerk, March 8, 1977.
