AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF JOHN T. LAMBERT, 2101
JACKSON STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY IN LOT 20 BLOCK 7,
O'BRYANS ADDITION, AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 28TH AND MISSISSIPPI STREETS,
FOR THE SUM OF $800.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of John T. Lambert, in the amount of $800.00,
to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City be
accepted, said land being described as follows:
Lot 20, Block 7, O'Bryans Addition, at the
northeast corner, of 28th and Mississippi
Streets, as shown on page 56 of Block Map
Book 4 in the office 'of the City Engineer.
Being the same property conveyed to the
City of Paducah by deed dated January 11,
1969 and recorded in Deed Book 505,
Page 554 in the McCracken County Court
Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $800.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to John T.
Lambert all of the right, title and -interest of the City in the property described in
Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only and shall
contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might
be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption
