FURNISHING THE CITY, OF PADUCAH WITH IT'S REQUIREMENT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES FOR THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1, 1977 TO DECEMBER 31, 1977, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE.- BE URCHASE-BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Bowling Tire Company, Inc. for furnishing the City of Paducah with it's requirement of new automobile and truck tires for the period of time from January 1, 1977 to December 31, 1977, said bid being in substantial compliance with the specifications set out in the resolution dated December 14, 1976, adopted by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as contained in the bid of Bowling Tire Company, Inc. which was received and filed with the Minutes of the meeting of February 8, 1977. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Bowling Tire Company, Inc. for the purchase of the materials as set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution and bid. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
