HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-2-1389425 ORDINANCE NO. 77-2-1389 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-73 OF CHAPTER 10 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 10-73 of Chapter 10 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said Section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec . 10-73 Control and management; membership of board of trustees. The board of trustees of the appointive employees' pension fund shall have exclusive control and management of the pension fund and of all moneys donated M or paid for the relief or pensioning of employees. The membership of such board shall consist of the mayor, who shall act as chairman of the board, the city manager, and three (3) employees who shall be elected by all appointive employees every two (2) years beginning on the first Monday in January, 1948. All members shall serve until their successor are duly elected. In the event of a vacancy in the term of any elective member, the remaining voting members of the board shall, by a majority vote, appoint a suc- cessor to serve for the remainder of the term". SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and- effect from and after its adoption.
