HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-2-1385411 ORDINANCE NO. 77-2-1385 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF LONNIE CROWDUS , 627 SOUTH 12TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY IN A LOT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF JACKSON STREET BETWEEN 12TH STREET AND 13TH STREET, FOR THE SUM OF $900.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Lonnie Crowdus in the amount of $900.00, to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lot 6 and one-half of Lot 7, Churchill's Addition, fronting 60 feet on North side of Jackson Street between 12th Street and 13th Street and as shown on page " 14 of Block Map Book 2 in the office of the City Engineer. Being the same land conveyed to the City of Paducah by Howard Clark and wife, Judy Clark, by deed dated October 21, 1974 and of record in Deed Book 567, Page 440 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $900.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Lonnie Crowdus all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only and shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
