HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-2-1380406 ORDINANCE NO. 77-2-1380 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WOODALL MOTOR SALES, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO DUMP TRUCKS TO BE USED BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of Woodall Motor Sales in the amount of $17,132.00, for sale to the City of two (2) dump trucks to be used by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authori- zed by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on December 28, 1976, and as contained in the bid of Woodall Motor Sales, dated January 20, 1977. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Woodall Motor Sales for sale to the City of the dump trucks authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said dump trucks shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
