ORDINANCE NO. 77-1-1374
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF- A 1977 FORD MODEL LN750 TRUCK TO BE' USED WITH THE
BITUMINOUS DISTRIBUTOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City -of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of
Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of a 1977 Ford Model LN750 truck to be used
with the bituminous
distributor;
in the amount
of
$9,252.11, said bid being
in sub-
stantial compliance
with the bid_
specifications
and
advertisement for bids as
was
authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 23, 1976,
and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc . , dated December 14, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of the truck authorized
in Section 1 above according to the specifications; bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truckshall be charged, to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No . 3414.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be .introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one
week in the completed form in which -,it shall be put upon its final passage, and if
adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter...
