FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF A ETNYRE BITUMINOUS DISTRIBUTOR FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc . , for sale to the City of a Etnyre bituminous distributor, 1250 gallon, model BT -HS, in the amount of $14,609.00 less trade-in of a 1952 International oil distributor (L182 M48146) in the amount of $3,846.00, making a net cost to the City of $10,763.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of Com- missioners on November 23, 1976, and as contained in the bid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc . , dated December 10, 1976. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Kentucky Machinery, Inc. for sale to the City of the Etnyre bituminous distributor authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said bituminous distributor shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
