ORDINANCE NO. 77-1-1369
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF STELLO PRODUCTS, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF APPROXIMATELY 379 TRAFFIC SIGN POSTS AND 1,056 TRAFFIC SIGNS
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of Stello Products,
Inc . , in the amount of $18,359.00, for sale to the City of approximately 379 traffic sign
posts and 1,056 traffic signs, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the
Board of Commissioners on November 23, 1976, and as contained in the bid of Stello Pro-
ducts, Inc., dated December 9, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
a contract with Stello Products, Inc. for sale to the City of the traffic sign posts and traffic
signs authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said traffic sign posts and traffic
signs shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 1812.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least
one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
