HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-1-1368379 ORDINANCE NO. 77-1-1368 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BELMONT EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE CUSHMAN TYPE VEHICLES FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of Belmont Equipment Company in theT amount of $12,394.08, for sale to the City of three (3) cushman type vehicles for use by the Refuse Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 23, 1976. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Belmont Equipment Company for sale to the City of three Cushman type vehicles authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said Cushman type vehicles shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
