AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES`, INC . , FOR SALE
TO THE CITYOF TWELVE 1977' FOUR -DOOR AUTOMOBILES TO BE USED BY .THE
PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT , AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ' COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the- City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc: in the net amount of $44,104.53, for- sale to the City of twelve (12)
1977 four -door automobiles to be used by the Paducah police department, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids
as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on'November
9, 1976, 'and as contained in ' the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc . , dated November 23, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with, Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of the police auto-
mobiles authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications,_ bid proposal
and all contract 'documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said police automobiles shall be charged
to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No 2114.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain 'on. file 'for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in : which it shall be' put -upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
