A_ RESOLUTION APPROVING AN. APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF .PADUCAH
TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT ,ASSISTANCE ADMINIS.TRA.TION. .. ..-
BE IT RESOLVED , BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS .OF THE., CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. ,That the Mayor of_,the.. City. of Paducah is hereby .authorized
and directed to execute an application to the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration
for purposes ,of receiving a communications grant, in an amount of not less than
$11, 904.00 to assist- in the purchasing of fifteen (15) portable "Nandi-talkie" radios,
one multi-unit battery charger and fifteen (15) .additional batteries to be used by the
Paducah Police Department . .
SECTION 2 . The City of Paducah further certifies that if .the requested
assistance is granted that the City will comply with all applicable regulations and
assurances in connection with, said. grant .
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from .and
after the date of its adoption .
