ORDINANCE NO. 76-12-1351
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KELLY-CRESWELL COMPANY, INC .
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF A PAVEMENT MARKING MACHINE TO BE USED BY THE
MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
;: -:SECTION 1-. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of
Kelly-Creswell Company, Inc . , in the amount of $2, 055.00 for sale to the City of
a Kelly-Creswell Model B3P pavement marking machine to be used by the Maintenance
Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid' specifications
and advertisement for. bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of
Commissioners on November 9, 1976, and as contained in the bid of Kelly-Creswell
Company, Inc . , dated November 15, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Kelly-Creswell Company, Inc . for sale to the City of a
pavement marking machine authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifi-
cations, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated
in the bid .
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said pavement marking machine shall
be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No . 1814 .
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter .
