A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL
AND STATE ASSISTANCE, DATED DECEMBER 14, 1976, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FEDERAL URBAN MASS TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTRATION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the preliminary application for Federal assistance,
dated December 14, 1976, to the Department of Transportation Federal Urban Mass
Transportation Administration, requesting $255, 200 in Federal funds and $31, 900 in
State funds for the acquisition of land, the construction of a transit facility, and the
purchase of five (5) passenger busses is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized to
execute the aforesaid preliminary application and to file same with the Department of
Transportation Federal Urban Mass Transportation Administration .
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption .
