AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-
327
CADILLAC, INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1977 ONE-HALF TON
PICKUP TRUCK FOR USE BY THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT , AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Wilson Chevrolet-Cadillac, Inc . in the amount of $2, 897.20, for sale to the City
of one (1) new 1977 one-half ton pickup truck for use by the Parks and Recreation
Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board
of Commissioners on October 12, 1976, and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet-
Cadillac, Inc . dated October 25, 1976 .
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet-Cadillac, Inc . for sale to the City of the
vehicle authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid .
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said vehicle shall be charged
to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No . 5114 .
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least
one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter .
