ORDINANCE NO. 76-11-1343
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF ALLEN AND BARNETT ,
CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS , FOR AUDITING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF
PADUCAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM, FOR THE PERIOD
FROM 'MAY 11, 1975 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1976 .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS' OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the-City of Paducah .accept the proposal of Allen and
Barnett, Certified Public Accountants, to make an audit of the Community Development
Block Grant Program for the period from May 11, 1975 through September 30, 1976;
said proposal being according to the terms and conditions set forth in the letter of
Allen and Barnett , Certified Public Accountants to Mr . Wayne Upshaw , Director of
Planning & Development, dated October 15, 1976, which was received and filed with
the Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held on October 26, 1976.
SECTION 2 . The compensation for such audit shall be based upon' the standard
fees of Certified Public Accountants, however, the total coast of -same shall- not exceed the
sum of $3,800.00 and shall be paid from Community Development Block Grant funds.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage , and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter .
