AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF CLAYTON R . WAGNER , 4306
BUCKNER LANE , TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY IN LOT NO. 5 , BLOCK
NO. 3 OF WOODLAWN SUBDNISION FOR THE SUM OF $275.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Clayton R. Wagner, in the amount of $275.00
to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land of said City be
accepted, said land being described as follows:
Part of Lot 5 in Block 3 in Woodlawn Addition , beginning at a
point on the north side of Oak Street 170 feet west of Fern Street;
thence with north side of Oak Street west 40 feet, more or less,
to the Fondaw line; thence with Fondaw line towards 8th Street
130 feet to an alley; thence with alley east 40 feet, more or less;
thence South and parallel to Fern Street 130 feet. to beginning
on Oak Street. See Deed Book 171, Page 443.
Being the same land (W . H . Leaver property) conveyed to the City
of Paducah by Benjamin C . LeRoy, Treasurer , by Deed dated
October 12, 1976 and of record in Deed Book 587, Page 539, in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $275.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Clayton R .
Wagner all of the right , title and interest of the City in the property described in
Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only and shall con-
tain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be
shown be an accurate survey .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption .
