AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF AN ALLEY
" LYING BETWEEN NORTH -8TH .STREET AND' OAK`STREET AND BETWEEN OLNE STREET
.AND PINE `(COLE) STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAIi, :KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing
of a portion of an alley lying between North 8th Street and Oak Street and between
Olive Street and Pine (Cole) Street, more particularly described as follows:
"A 10 foot alley lying between and parallel to Oak Street
and North 8th Street, and beginning at the No th right-
of-way line of Olive Street and extending Wes a distance
of 406 feet (includes all that portion of said alley within
this block not previously closed) .
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute
and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court
for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
