ORDINANCE NO. 76-10-1335
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF NATIONAL LOSS CONTROL
SERVICE CORPORATION FOR THE PREPARATION OF A "MUNICIPAL FIRE PROTECTION
STUDY" FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY , AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH WORK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the proposal
of National ,Loss Control. Service Corporation in the amount of $12, 636.00 for preparation
of a "Municipal Fire Protection Study" .
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into an agreement with National Loss Control Service Corporation for the
preparation of said study according to the proposal attached hereto and by reference
incorporated herein .
SECTION 3. The amount to be paid for said study shall be as follows:
$5,450.00 by "701" Grant with the: remaining $7,186.00 to be paid from Community
Development Block Grant funds .
SECTION 4. An emergency is. declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage , and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter .
