AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HENRY A . PETTER SUPPLY
COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE (1) SEWER CLEANING
MACHINE FOR USE' IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Henry- A . Petter
Supply Company for sale to the City of one (1) O'Brien "SEWERKING" heavy duty (Model ,
700) (sewer cleaning machine) for use in the Street Department at the total net price
of $5,264.50, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of
Commissioners on September 14, 1976, and as contained in the bid of Henry A. Petter
Supply Company dated September 30, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Henry A . Petter Supply Company for sale to the City of
a sewer cleaning machine authorized in Section 1 above according to the speci-
fications , bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incor-
porated in the bid'.' The purchase price for same shall be charged to Federal
Revenue Sharing Account No . 3414.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least
one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage , and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter .
