ORDINANCE NO. 76-10-1333
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF MASON STREET
LOCATED BETWEEN LaCLEDE AVENUE AND ROSS AVENUE , WEST OF JOE
CLIFTON DRIVE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing
of Mason Street located between Laclede Avenue and Ross Avenue , west of Joe
Clifton Drive, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the southerly line of Mason
Street intersects with the westerly line of Joe Clifton
Drive; thence running south 58 degrees 04 minutes 15
seconds west a distance of 230 feet; thence north 31
degrees 55 minutes 45 seconds west a distance of 66
feet; thence north 58 degrees 04 minutes 15 seconds
east a distance of 230 feet to the westerly line of
Joe Clifton Drive; thence south 31 degrees 55 minutes
45 seconds east 66 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute
and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court

for a judgment ordering the closing of the described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption .
